This is the first blogpost in English on this site. That’s because I just put up a dream exhibition in university library in Jyväskylä and decided to write all the text introductions in the exhibition in English to better serve the exhange students. I’m about to pioneer a 30 Days of Fear -challenge group here in Jyväskylä. The course is meant for university students and is free of charge. What is the 30 Days of Fear -challenge? Find out here. And if you are a Finnish reader, you can also go here.
According to the challenge, everyone participating, must commit to doing one of the following things during 30 days.
- Doing something they fear
- Doing something they’ve been putting off
- Doing something they’ve never done before
- Doing something they feel is good for their life & health
The 30 Days of Fear –challenge group meets once a week for one month of time. In each week’s meeting everybody tells about their past week and its challenges. In each meeting everybody visualizes the upcoming challenges for the following week.In each week’s meeting challenge pairs are randomly selected – the challenge pair is to keep in touch with each other during the week and to encourage and keep sure they are both keeping up with the challenges.
The first meeting of the challenge group will be on Monday 19.10.2015. The meetings will take place every Monday in the university’s class Agora C234. If you wish to join or have any questions, please contact me either by phone (+358 40 573 6274) or through email (email@example.com).
